"Our Malamute/Husky cross, seven years old, has had chronic inflammatory bowel
disease all his life. I spent thousands of dollars on visits to the vet, expensive antibiotics, special dog foods - only available from the vet, exploratory surgery, homeopathy and alternative medicine. One of my "dog friends", suggested a raw food diet. I bought the book about the BARF diet and read it with interest. My next thought was how am I going to get the raw food for Jake? I thought it would be complicated getting all the nutrients that were suggested in the book. Jake is doing so much better. He loves his food, especially the turkey necks.
